Me: Hey! Karen! Why are you slapping Jon like that?
Karen: I'm trying to slap the stupid out of him.
(I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time!)

Me: Hey, gang! You need to tap your foot when you play so you can feel the subdivision of the eighth notes when your foot goes up and down.
Little Petey: My feet don't reach the floor!
(What's sad is that it's true. And he's in 7th grade!)
