God and the housing market

Leviticus 25: 14-16
"If you sell land to one of your countrymen or buy any from him, do not take advantage of each other.
You are to buy from your countryman on the basis of the number of years since the Jubilee. And he is to sell to you on the basis of the number of years left for harvesting crops.
When the years are many, you are to increase the price, and when the years are few, you are to decrease the price, because what he is really selling you is the number of crops"

The year of Jubilee was when the land was returned to the original owner even if they had to sell the land in times of trouble or whatever, it would return to that owner without debt in the year of Jubilee. We unfortunately do not have this year in America. :( Also, our real estate is not usually including farmland and so the price it is referring to based on crops wouldn't really apply. There are numerous passages in the Bible in regards to being wise with finances and such and I think they would apply to how to make decisions in this housing market.
